Young people aged 10 - 24 years who live, study, work or participate in a school, youth service or community organisation within the Illawarra and Shoalhaven region are eligible to enter. Entries can be submitted in one of three categories:
General Category
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Category
Migrant & Refugee Young People Category

Your poster should promote one or more of the following themes:
Respect
Equality
Healthy relationships
Inclusion
Community responsibility
Non-violence
Preventing violence against women
We're looking for positive, creative messages that inspire people to take action and contribute to safer communities.

You can create your poster using any medium, including:
Drawing
Painting
Photography
Collage
Mixed media
Digital design
Posters should be submitted as a JPG, PNG or PDF file, preferably in A3 portrait format, with a maximum file size of 10MB.

One winner will be selected from each category:
🏆 General Category Winner - $100 Gift Card
🏆 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Category Winner - $100 Gift Card
🏆 Migrant & Refugee Young People Category Winner - $100 Gift Card
Winners will be announced on 10 December 2026, as part of International Human Rights Day, and winning artworks will be featured in the Every Rose, Every Voice Digital Gallery.

Yes. By entering the competition, you can choose whether your artwork is displayed in the Every Rose, Every Voice Digital Gallery and campaign promotional materials.
You can also choose how you would like to be identified, including:
First name only
First name and organisation
A chosen artist name (pseudonym)
Anonymous publication
If you are under 18, parent or guardian consent is required.

Entries will be assessed by a panel of community representatives, youth advocates and creative professionals based on:

✅ Creativity and originality
✅ Visual impact
✅ Connection to the campaign theme
✅ Positive community impactYou do not need to be a professional artist to enter. We're looking for powerful ideas and authentic youth voices, not just artistic skill.
