🌹 5th Annual Illawarra Rose Vigil 🌹

Please join us to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the start of the 16 Days of Activism.

Together, we will honour and remember the women and children who have lost their lives to gender-based violence in Australia over the last 12 months.

Women's rights activists have observed 25 November as a day against gender-based violence since 1981, in honour of the Mirabal sisters—three political activists from the Dominican Republic who were murdered in 1960. Today, this worldwide movement remains a vital call to action for our entire community to stand united against violence.

Join us to ensure that the voices of those who have been lost are never forgotten.
